Having undertaken a three-module Situational Leadership®
programme to learn skills in defining tasks, assessing readiness and selecting a matching leadership style, Module 4
extends the leader's skills beyond matching.
The focus is on the leader as an agent for change, particularly
in relation to encouraging performance improvement and addressing performance problems. The potential risks associated with
change can be managed using skills taught in this module, leading to a high probability of success.
|
Part 1 Module 4 The Regressive Cycle addresses
performance slippage, which may result, for a variety of reasons, from simple inattention to detail to defiantly withholding performance.
Part 2, Module 4
The Developmental Cycle focuses on developing followers to higher levels of readiness by leaders investing their time in
high payoff activities. Released from micro-management, the leader can then focus on more strategic tasks.

This module is essential for leaders, who wish to develop their skills in the application
of Situational Leadership® to management processes such as:
> Performance management
> Discipline
> Appraisal /review/peer review
> Coaching
> Planning and managing staff development
