This one day
programme
is based on the highly acclaimed 'Situational Leadership'®
model developed by Dr. Paul
Hersey.
Since its development, Situational Leadership®
has become one of the foremost leadership models. The
programme
provides in-depth training on the model and its applicability to
classroom, department, and school management.
The ultimate aim is to equip participants with the knowledge,
skills and confidence to implement Situational Leadership®
immediately on completion of the
programme.
The
programme
is highly interactive with a variety of methodology including
self-analysis questionnaire, analysis of video scenarios, tutor
presentation, group exercises, and action planning. A
comprehensive participants' manual is provided as a take-away
resource to support continued learning.

Learning Outcomes:
By the end of the
programme,
participants will be able to:
- analyse their own and staff members needs in terms of
Readiness to undertake tasks
- define 'task' and 'relationship'
- match leadership style to needs in a variety of situations
- describe their own preferred leadership style/s
- apply course concepts to their own work situation.
